Biography

I strive to be a versatile composer who plays well with others as a problem solver and creative collaborator.
My music draws on an eclectic history of collaborations, bands, and solo projects creating original and experimental music across multiple musical genres. After releasing multiple albums from 2013 to 2020, I turned my focus to writing for film and video, and was a top 10 award winner in both the 2021 & 2022 Indie Gathering international Film Scoring Competitions, and in 2022 placed in the the Top Ten of the Horror Hotel Film Festival Scoring Competition.
In January 2023, I completed an intensive 6-month Cinematic Composing Program that included interactive master classes and critiques from illustrious film composers Javier Navarrete and Christopher Young, video game music composer Lennie Moore, and director Doug Campbell, in addition to a succession of critiqued exercises with multiple production music coaches.
In April 2023, I composed and orchestrated an original score for a 40 piece orchestra played by the FAMES project in Macedonia. In post-production I added virtual percussion, low brass, and mixed the ProTools audio files with the hybrid elements. I also edited the video captured during the recording and the resulting music video placed 3rd in the music video category at the 2023 International Indie Gathering Film festival.
In 2024 I received a nomination for “Best Original Score” by the Indie Series Awards #ISA14 in Burbank CA for the pilot episode of Ariel – When Doves Cry.
